Trekking in Mustang

mustangTrekking in Mustang region is a unique experience which takes you to an arid region beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The route entails traveling across desert like landscape, barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and moraine valleys. Gosaikund Trek

gosaikundWe follow a rugged trail with dramatic views; to the west Himal Chuli (7893meter) Manaslu (8156meter) and Ganesh Himal (7406m). On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. We pass a few huts in the high picture of Laurebina La, cross a small ridge and have our first views of the holy lakes. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin.The main three are Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda.

 

Trekking in RARA Lake

rara_frontRara lies on the remote Karnali zone in the north – west of Nepal. The region is made up of long ridges covered with temperate forests and alpine pastures enclosing high valleys. Summer rainfall is low but winter snow can be heavy and persistent. Since the region is fairly high and free from monsoon thunder storms, the summer season is ideal for trekking. Winters are cold, but in the autumn season, trekking is rewarded with a profusion of alpine flowers.

 

Everest Panorama Trek

A black taped motorable road links Jiri with Kathmandu. Local bus or a private vehicle can be hired for a day drive. You should get a well preparation to trek from Jiri. The trail goes ascendings and descendings for the first five days. Lamjura La pass 3530m is the highest access of this trek that lies just before Lukla, and bestows magnificent display of pink and iliac rhododendron during spring.
